Poole Pottery 1920's Large Traditional Vase GX


A substantial red earthenware vase with an early Truda Adams multi-coloured art deco pattern on a white ground.

Dating: c. 1925

Shape: A large 8¼" (21cm) tall vase with a maximum diameter of 6½" (16cm). Inscribed with shape number 911.

Design: Decorated with a mid-1920's Truda Adams art deco design featuring stylised flora.

Backstamp: Impressed CARTER STABLER ADAMS, POOLE, ENGLAND. This backstamp was used between 1921 and c.1924, when CSA became a limited company.

Painter: Signed with a monogram by the paintress Marian Heath, who worked at Poole from 1925 - 1938.

Condition: Excellent condition. Light crazing.
