Poole Pottery 1930's CSA Twin Handled Vase


A good red earthenware twin-handled vase with a less common art deco floral pattern by Truda Carter.

Dating: 1927 - 1934

Shape: A classic twin handled vase standing 7" (18cm) tall, with a maximum diameter of 6½" (16cm). Impressed with shape number 202.

Design: Decorated with traditional floral pattern EG, designed by Truda Carter in the late 1920's.

Backstamp: Impressed CARTER STABLER ADAMS LTD, POOLE ENGLAND to base. This backstamp was used between 1925 - 1934.

Painter: Signed with a monogram by the paintress Eileen Prangnell, who worked at Poole from 1924 - 1937.

Condition: Very good condition for age. Crazing and minor blemishes as is common for this period.
