Poole Pottery 1930's Twintone Vase C54


A stylish and substantial 1930's white earthenware vase in a popular twintone colourway of mushroom and sepia.

Dating: 1935 - 1941

Shape: An 11" (28cm) tall vase with ribbed effect designed by Harry Trethowan c. 1935

Design: Decorated in twintone colours of Mushroom externally and Sepia to the inside. These colours had pattern code C54 and were used between 1935 and 1941 initially, when the range was known as Two-Colour, and then again from 1946 to 1981.

Backstamp: Impressed "POOLE ENGLAND" on the base. This backstamp was used between 1930 and 1996.


Condition: Excellent condition.
