A striking Delphis dish with a good abstract pattern in the late 1960's colour palette of blue, brown, green and white on a deep red ground.

Dating: 1966 - 1969

Shape: A round 10" (25cm) dish printed with shape number 4.

Design: Delphis began as a studio range in 1963 and, although colour palettes were standardised in the 1970's, each piece is a unique expression by the individual artist. The range was withdrawn in 1979.

Backstamp: Printed "POOLE England" on the base together with the Poole dolphin. This backstamp was used between 1966 and 1980.

Painter: Signed with a monogram by the paintress Christine Tate, who worked on Delphis from 1964 - 1970 and was section supervisor from 1966.

Condition: Excellent condition
