Product and Pricing Information

Products on this website are described and photographed in good faith. However, interpretations of marks, signatures, age and condition are provided as a guide only and do not form part of the Sales Agreement.

Whilst we try to ensure that prices quoted are accurate, administrative errors may occur. In the event that we discover a pricing error on a product that you have ordered we will inform you via email, and give you the option of accepting the difference or cancelling the order with a full refund.

Prices exclude shipping. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the item and the destination. Applicable costs can be estimated from the shopping basket, and will be added to the total cost of the order at checkout.

The Poole Room is not registered for VAT and no VAT will be added to orders.

Product Availability

Each product offered for sale is a unique item. In the event that we are unable to supply an item that you have ordered because of, for example (but not limited to), breakage, loss or prior sale we will inform you via email and issue a full refund.

Ordering and Payment

Orders placed through this website are covered by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

When an order is received, The Poole Room will send confirmation of receipt to the email address provided by the purchaser. This email is an acknowledgement only and does not constitute a contract.

Online payments are accepted only via our payment provider, Paypal, and are subject to the user agreement published on the Paypal website.

Orders accompanied by a UK cheque or postal order can be accepted by post. No goods will be despatched until funds have cleared.

The purchaser is solely responsible for any import duties or other taxes levied in their country of residence, and for establishing what these charges may be.


Orders may be cancelled at any time within 7 days of receipt via email to . If the goods have already been despatched then the returns policy below will apply.


Goods will be despatched within 5 working days of receipt for online orders, or within 5 working days of clearance of funds for postal orders.

Goods will be despatched using an insured service from a major carrier. In the event of loss or damage the purchaser must co-operate fully with the carrier in completing the insurance claim in order to receive a refund.


Any goods may be returned within 7 days of receipt at the purchaser's own expense and risk. It is recommended that an insured, signed-for service is used. Providing the item is received in the same condition as when despatched a full refund will be issued. If the item is not in the same condition a partial refund may be made at The Poole Room's sole discretion.

Details of the procedure for returning items will be included with the goods when despatched.


These terms and conditions shall be subject to English Law and do not affect your statutory rights.
